Middle East’s Wego and MNTO partner on digital promotion
Wego has joined forces with the Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO) to run a summer 2025 campaign aimed at increasing inbound markets from the GCC countries.
The largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East, Wego's promotion aims to “inspire a new wave of travel to Morocco, focusing on the country’s vibrant cities, coastal escapes and natural landscapes”.
This collaboration comes as Morocco achieves record tourism numbers, with 7.2 million tourists arriving in the first five months of 2025, a 22% increase over the same period last year.
The campaign, which runs across digital platforms throughout summer, will deliver curated content and digital promotions focused on Morocco’s unique blend of tradition and modernity, inspiring GCC travellers to explore the colourful medinas of Chefchaouen, the sun-drenched beaches of Agadir and the highland trails of the Atlas Mountains.
