Liz Perkins will oversee more than 150 hotels as VP Commercial MEA
Liz Perkins has been appointed as Vice President, Commercial, Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Based in Dubai in the UAE, Perkins will be responsible for overseeing the commercial performance across more than 150 hotels in the MEA region.
This latest appointment comes as Hilton reaches a significant milestone with the opening of its 1,000th hotel in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Hilton currently counts 152 hotels across 13 brands in the Middle East and Africa specifically, and is set to more than double its regional footprint with more than 200 properties in the pipeline.
A seasoned professional with 20 years of commercial experience across Asia-Pacific, Europe and MEA, Perkins brings a wealth of expertise in driving performance success for global hospitality brands, as well as deep knowledge of the Hilton brand, having worked with the hospitality group for the past five years.
She most recently served as Vice President, Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific at Hilton in Singapore, where she spearheaded the strategic direction and operations for the commercial sector driving regional growth and revenue performance.

Her specialisms include accelerating market share growth, implementing scalable solutions and enhancing commercial discipline, from frontline service to overseeing property launches and regional operations across APAC, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Prior to Hilton, she worked at InterContinental Hotels Group for more than 13 years, most recently leading revenue management and commercial strategy with a focus on MEA, Europe and Asia.
On her LinkedIn profile, Perkins describes herself as a “respected people leader who nurtures and empowers teams across diverse cultures and regions” with a solid reputation for creating high-performing engaged teams.
Commenting on the appointment, Perkins said she was “thrilled” to step into this new role at Hilton at such a dynamic time, with the MEA region “poised for remarkable growth”.
The Middle East and Africa is a significant focus for Hilton Hotels and Resorts, with plans to more than double its footprint in the region, with 200 new properties in the pipeline.

In Egypt, Hilton has plans to grow its footprint to more than 40 properties in the coming years, while in Saudi, there are plans to more than quadruple its 21-property presence in the kingdom with some 70 hotels under development, including three resorts at farm-based tourism destination Al Ahsa and the first Waldorf Astoria in Madinah.
Recent regional openings for the group include the 272-key Signia by Hilton Amman in Jordan and Hyatt Place AlUla Hotel, which is slated to open at the end of 2025 with 215 rooms, a pool and two dining venues, while new signings include the 200-key Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk in Egypt and a Hilton Garden Inn in the upcoming Osus Eye development in Saudi capital Riyadh.
