Travellers can drop luggage up to 48 hours before flight
UAE low-cost airline Air Arabia has launched a new check-in facility at Al Barsha Mall in Dubai.
For a handling fee of just AED 20, passengers can check in as early as 48 hours before their flight, meaning they can avoid airport queues and head straight to immigration upon arrival at the airport.
This facility marks the airline’s second location in Dubai and brings its UAE-wide network to 14 centres, offering passengers greater flexibility and convenience.
Passengers departing from either Sharjah International Airport or Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi can check in their baggage and collect their boarding passes at the facility anytime between 48 and 8 hours before their scheduled flight departure.

The facility also provides additional services such as extra baggage purchase, seat selection and flight modifications, operating daily from 10am to 10pm.
Part of a wider strategy to provide customers with “affordable and value-added solutions”, this latest centre complements Air Arabia’s existing city check-in points, which include Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.
UAE airports continue to raise the bar for convenience with Dubai Airport (DXB) recently launching a remote check-in and direct luggage delivery service, allowing travellers to complete check-in procedures from the comfort of their home or hotel and have their bags transported directly to the airport.
